Lauren and Mark moved from Jacksonville, Illinois to McCook, Nebraska at the end of December 2012. We have been looking forward to our visit with them. Mark owns and manages a shoe store in town. They discovered that there was a dance studio in town, but no dance teacher. So, Lauren applied and now she teaches 86 students, Monday through Thursday evenings and basically 'runs' the studio.
We enjoyed the grand tour of McCook. The town is much larger than we thought. We tried out a great steak house, a mexican restaurant and sandwiches at the bakery. There were many fun shops; a great gift shop and a kitchen store. Of course we visited the shoe store and the dance studio and attended church with them on Sunday.
